I guess I've only met one of the women you have known, but she seems to be holding a charge. The same can be said of the one who, quite literally, handed me a flashlight in the dark, and the one who does it metaphorically. Do poets do it metaphorically? Is that a good thing? Just wondering.

I imagine this mysterious woman is like many of the women I have known, so the batteries are likely dead.
