because of my friend, john brzezinski,
i got to looking
at the word "eye" in english
and "oko" in polish
and "ojo" in spanish
and the winking word for "eye"
in several scandinavian languages
and found a little face in each.
john's eyes seem to work that way, too;
seeing what others miss.

Interestingly, in Russian, the word eye is "глаз."
